Role Description
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Full-time and Office based
Reporting Line: Technical Manager
Job Purpose
This role requires a qualified computer technician, with exceptional workmanship, to assess, diagnose and
repair hardware.
The candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and be able to work diligently
and accurately using their developed problem-solving skills to ensure optimal workshop functionality,
whilst maintaining effective turnaround times and service levels.
Recruitment Specialist
This role requires a qualified Computer Technician to assess, diagnose, and repair IT Hardware and related equipment.
- Repair desktop systems by performing hardware troubleshooting and repairs
- Test, repair, or replace faulty components as needed
- Conduct repairs on notebooks, mobile devices, and tablets
- Perform peripheral testing for vendor escalation, including printers, digital cameras, and CCTV systems
- Recover and repair software across all operating systems
- Troubleshoot communication devices such as network LANs and WANs
- Maintain job card updates and provide customer feedback on repairs
- Provide telephonic support to assist with troubleshooting
- Deliver on-site support as required
Experience and Knowledge:
