Job Purpose
To provide pre-sales and sales support to partners, Huawei, and internal sales divisions, focusing on growing the SMB market within the Huawei stack. Increase channel sales, forecast demand accurately, and manage stock levels effectively. Aim to become a trusted advisor and resource for all stakeholders.
Recruitment Specialist
- Develop and execute the business strategy
- Understand and implement the vendor's development strategy in the commercial sector
- Increase customer coverage and count for the vendor and Pinnacle
- Expand vendor product coverage
- Enhance geographic coverage for the vendor
- Define and document a development plan with each partner and focus on execution
- Review the plan quarterly
- Present the development plan status to the vendor
- Train and upskill partners and Pinnacle
- Develop partner resources to grow sales and presales
- Provide training on vendor sales tools
- Educate partners on vendor processes and systems
- Manage the minimum certification level of partners
- Involve partners in vendor training and events
- Ensure operational excellence of the vendor within the partner
- Place orders with the vendor promptly
- Deliver fast and accurate quotes
- Facilitate credits passed by the vendor to resellers/partners
- Provide ETA and delivery information
- Escalate partner operational issues to the vendor and focus on resolution
- Align vendor resources with partners
- Ensure stakeholder interface between vendor and partner on technical, presales, management,
marketing, and solutions proposals levels - Collaborate with partners to drive marketing initiatives for the vendor, including:
o Organize marketing events
o Conduct tele-campaigns
o Implement internal incentives
o Promote vendor events
o Drive vendor GTMs with partners and ensure focus on GTMs - Manage discounts
- Lobby for partner support at the vendor
- Enlist vendor support to close opportunities
- Manage vendor relationships
- Maintain relationships with key vendor contacts for successful quarterly reviews
- Focus on solutions for each partner
- Ensure vendors prioritize each product
- Assume responsibility for the revenue target allocated to the partner
- Drive Pinnacle product focus within each partner
- Act as the custodian of the vendor relationship at the partner
- Keep vendors’ products top of mind for all key stakeholders within the partner
- Analyze market segments and develop marketing strategies to build product demand and
create effective solutions - Provide marketing plans and GTM strategies for the sales team
- Liaise with vendors and industry to understand product and market trends, and amend plans for efficient product lifecycle management
- Communicate product and market strategies, objectives, and technical details clearly
- Develop a strategic account management plan for all channel partners to be presented
quarterly - Ensure effective resolution of customer-related queries
- Assist the team with related functions as needed
- Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required by management, vendors, and
analysts
Experience and Knowledge:
- 2-3 years of IT sales experience is essential, preferably in the commercial market, with
distribution experience as an advantage - Proficient in the MS Office suite; knowledge of CRM and ERP systems is preferred

- Able to handle stress, work under pressure, and manage high workloads effectively
- Relevant technical knowledge, technology-driven, and up to date with current Huawei products and preferred Enterprise certifications
