Role Description
Location: Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa
Full-time and Office based
Reporting Line: Brand Executive: HP
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the internal HP sales and product processes to
achieve targets and to act as a bridge between the internal brand team as well as the organization’s sales
team and the vendor.
Recruitment Specialist
- Develop and maintain relationships with HP team members, internal sales teams’ applicable customers
- Achieve monthly sales and stock targets
- Develop and understand product knowledge on a continuous basis
- Provide relevant product training internally and to different branches
- Deliver reports and target tracking information as required
- Implement Pinnacle strategy and policies in alignment with the product
- Support products through PDF spec sheets, web info, sales support, and customer systems
- Position and price products effectively
- Update product details on the webpage
- Assist sales staff with quotations
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to sales staff
- Align all resources to ensure efficiency
- Stay updated on developments and trends in the Enterprise market
- Understand technology roadmaps for future planning
- Assist with product codes, pricelists, and costing on the system
- Attend weekly sales meetings and resolving stock issues
- Drive active and aging stock management
- Manage the order process to maintain service and stock levels
- Hande rebates and incentives from suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers for promotional funds and materials
- aintain relationships with customers to understand their requirements and incorporating them into stock
forecasting - Develop and present/facilitate product presentations, training and information to different audiences
Experience and Knowledge:
- 3-5 years working experience in a Product Management environment will be advantageous
- Experience working in the IT Distribution industry
- Entry-level technical exposure on IT basics
- Experience working in a customer-orientated environment
Skills and Education:
- Matric
- A Sales or Marketing tertiary diploma/degree will be advantageous
- Must understand the IT market and the specific needs of the different market segments (select resellers, resellers, and end-users)
- Good administration skills
- Ability to create, update, and use data in a spreadsheet as well as to analyze, interpret, and use reports (for stock management, product reordering, aging stock, etc)
- Ability to complete a task with minimum supervision
- Customer service and service quality orientatedGood time management with the ability to work within a high-stress and pressurized environment
