Role Description
Location: Midrand, South Africa
Full-time and Office based
Reporting Line: Business Unit Manager: Huawei
Job Purpose
To provide pre-sales support to partners, Huawei, and internal sales divisions. Design, scope, and build solutions by conducting site visits and customer engagements to clearly define project requirements and key outcomes. To become a trusted technical advisor and training resource as well as a technical resource for all parties.
Recruitment Specialist
- Build and design pre-sales solutions
- Understand the vendor’s development strategy and implement it in the SMB sector:
o Expand customer reach for the vendor and Pinnacle
o Broaden vendor product coverage - Train and upskill partners and Pinnacle sales teams
- Conduct training on vendor sales tools
- Involve partners in vendor training and events
- Ensure orders are placed with the vendor promptly
- Align vendor resources with partners
- Collaborate with partners to drive vendor marketing initiatives, including:
o Organize marketing events
o Lead tele-campaigns
o Implement internal incentives
o Promote vendor events
o Drive vendor GTMs with partners, ensuring focus - Manage discounts
- Register vendor deals
- Focus on solutions for each partner
- Take ultimate responsibility for meeting revenue targets
- Act as custodian of the vendor-partner relationship
- Analyze market segments and develop strategies to build product demand and awareness
- Provide marketing and GTM plans for products
- Communicate product, strategy, objectives, and technical needs clearly to stakeholders
- Resolve customer-related queries effectively
- Manage SLAs for all parties
- Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required by management
Experience and Knowledge:
- 2 to 3 years of IT sales experience is essential
- Knowledge of Enterprise business is key
- Solid Enterprise solution capabilities and background is essential
- Previous IT distribution experience will be an advantage
Skills and Education:
- Matric with mathematics is essential
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite is essential
- Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems is preferred
- Knowledge of the process critical to sales e.g., RMA’s & deliveries
- Relevant technical knowledge and technology-driven, up to date with the current technical products and knowledge within Huawei and Enterprise certification
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Possesses excellent time management skills
- Positive, high-energy individual
- Willing to go the extra mile, including overtime during month-end sale deadlines
- Works well both as part of a team and independently
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Driven and enjoys working with diverse cultures
