Internal Account Manager: Channel Sales
Role Description
Location: Windhoek, Namibia
Full-time and Office based
Reporting Line: Branch Manager
Job Purpose
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, generate new business opportunities, and
drive sales growth by delivering excellent customer service, resolving conflicts, and providing innovative
solutions that meet customer needs and align with the Company’s objectives.
Recruitment Specialist
- Drive sales to achieve monthly sales targets
- Manage the sales process
- Maintain and farm existing customer base and forecast
- Establish and grow a new customer base
- Liaise with customers regularly to maintain and build relationships
- Develop a sales plan per account
- Deliver product presentations and entertain clients
- Attend product training and events
• Generate sales leads and follow-up with deals - Identify sales opportunities to market products and the Company
- Compile quotations
- Following up on quotations and convert them into to orders
- Take responsibility for processing and administration of relevant sales documentation
- Update backorders and orders received daily
Experience and Knowledge:
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in an Internal Sales position
- Previous sales experience within the ICT Distribution industry will be an advantage
- Proven track record of sales success (preferably within the ICT Distribution industry)
- Knowledge of security and/or infrastructure products will be an advantage
- Previous experience selling and working with customers at all levels of an organization including high-profile customers
- Experience in identifying sales opportunities and using skill set to develop solutions
- Working experience in a customer service environment
- Experience in preparing and presenting quotations
- Experience in developing sales plans and closing deals
Skills and Education:
- Matric, preferably with mathematics
- A tertiary qualification and/or a relevant diploma in Sales, Marketing, or IT will be an advantage
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proven sales skills/ability
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Confident, good sales presentation skills
- Able to complete basic calculations (ability to work with numbers)
- Organized individual who is deadline-driven with good time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail
- Developed negotiation skills
- Able to work in a pressure environment, to chase and meet targets
- Passionate about sales
- Interested in IT products and technology
- Interested in continuously learning about technology products
