Job Purpose
As a Driver you will play a vital role in our client delivery process, dedicated to upholding the utmost accuracy while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role comprises of coordinating and dispatching activities and maintaining a strong client-service interface. Your commitment to precision and your focus on customer satisfaction will be instrumental in achieving our organization's goals while fostering trust and loyalty among our clients.
Recruitment Specialist
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
- Provide an excellent customer service
- Request feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Complete logs and reports
- Manage time to ensure deliveries are made as scheduled and customers receive excellent service
- Picking and packing
- Housekeeping
- Client assistance over the front counter
Experience and Knowledge:
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Previous logistics/warehouse work experience within an IT distribution environment will be an advantage
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment will be beneficial
Skills and Education:
- Matric
- Valid professional driver’s license is essential
- PDP is preferred
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Customer service training or skills and ability to manage difficult customers
- Ability to carry through a task to completion
- Service quality orientated
- Good time management
- Detail orientated ensuring items are delivered as specified and required monies collected
- Customer service and service quality orientated is essential for success in this position
- Motivated with a high level of energy and self-confidence
- Ability to complete a task with minimum supervision
- Customer-focused and delivering above-average customer service
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Good time management, organized and deadline-driven
- Able to plan and prioritize a high workload
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to manage stress and work under pressure
