Role Description
Location: Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa
Full-time and Office based
Reporting Line: Technical Manager
Job Purpose
The Booking Clerk will be providing a high level of customer service by assisting customers to accurately
book their faulty products for repair.
This role will support the business by ensuring the correct capture of customer information, providing
feedback to customers on the repair status, inspecting stock for damage, and noting irregularities in the
system.
Recruitment Specialist
- Welcome and greet customers upon arrival
- Inspect units for damage and/or scratches, detailing findings on the internal Pinnacle system
- Verify customers’ product warranties prior to booking
- Create customer job cards and capture correct item details, including accessories on the job card
- Obtain information from the customer, capturing this correctly on the job card
- Follow the administration process ensuring all customers’ PODs are safely maintained
- Represent the Company to the customer by providing a high service level
- Assist Clients with queries and support
- Assist Technical teams with required information and provide support to them where necessary
- Follow third-party repair processes, procedures, and agreements
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality
Experience and Knowledge:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in a customer service environment
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administration-focused position
Skills and Education:
- Matric
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Able to complete basic calculations
